A lean, expert engineering team founded in Nairobi with a single conviction: that where you build software is irrelevant. What you build, and how you partner with clients while building it — that's everything.
CodeLinks Industries was founded on a clear conviction: geography is no barrier to technical excellence. From Nairobi, we have delivered production-grade software for clients in Belgium, India, the United States, and across East Africa — in industries as demanding as Fintech, live sports technology, and enterprise logistics.
Our lead engineer, Jared Bada Mwangene, holds an MSc in Data Science, Business Intelligence & Analytics (Distinction) from the University of Warsaw and a BSc in Computer Science from East African University. Over 6+ years he has shipped systems used by the FIG and national gymnastics federations worldwide, integrated 9 broker platforms into a unified Fintech API, and redesigned database schemas that cut critical query times from 60 seconds to 16 seconds.
We don't just write code. We solve problems, build systems that scale, and partner with our clients long after launch — because we know the most important work often happens in the 30 days after go-live, not before.
The developer who wins in a crowded market isn't always the most technically skilled. It's the one whose clients feel understood, confident, and genuinely cared for throughout the engagement — and long after it ends.
Most agencies hand over a repository and a deployment link and consider the job done. But software doesn't create value the moment it's launched — it creates value when it's used, adopted, scaled, and evolved. That requires a partnership, not a transaction.
Every CodeLinks engagement includes a structured post-launch phase: 30-day hypercare, a performance review, and a 90-day roadmap session. Because we've seen too many technically excellent products fail commercially due to a lack of post-launch focus.
Clients pay a premium when the risk of working with you feels low. Every element of our process — the written blueprint, the milestone payments, the bi-weekly demos, the hypercare window — is designed to give you maximum confidence that your investment is safe.
We anchor pricing to business value, not hours. "This booking system could increase reservations by 20%" is how we think about your project. Not "we'll need 300 hours at rate X."
The principles that guide every line of code, every client call, and every decision we make under pressure.
We hold our code to exacting standards — clean architecture, thorough testing, and continuous improvement. We refactor proactively, document thoroughly, and treat technical debt as a real business liability.
We start every engagement by defining what success looks like in measurable business terms. Not "the app is built" but "onboarding drop-off is below 15%" or "query time is under 200ms."
We surface problems early — before they become crises. If scope is growing, if a dependency has risk, if our initial estimate was wrong — you hear it from us first, with a proposed solution in hand.
Deadlines are commitments, not suggestions. We plan with buffer, track velocity, and flag schedule risks at the sprint level — never at the deadline.
We don't optimise for the current contract. We optimise for the relationship. Clients who trust us for 3+ years get better value than clients who treat each project as a separate transaction.
We are proud to represent what African engineering talent can achieve at the highest global level — and committed to raising the bar for the continent's growing tech ecosystem.
A lean, expert team of engineers, designers, and product thinkers — every one of them chosen for depth of expertise, not breadth of availability.
